You Can Study Engineering With Your Grade 9 Certificate At False Bay TVET College



The training landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is on the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school design isn't the only helpful means of learning. Their NCV programmes are intended for students who want to commence their journey towards a satisfying occupation early on.

CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Office for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, about their different courses.

False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are supplied at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-yr duration.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These classes start out at NCV level two plus the minimum amount requirement would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

As soon as the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they'd then have attained a grade 10 certificate. NCV Level 3 would be grade 11 and NCV Level 4 is grade 12.

NCV Level four is at the exit here level, getting equivalent to a Nationwide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade 9 is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV level two which is equivalent to an NQF level two.

On which kind of scholars are suited to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that classic schooling just isn't always the only method of getting an artisan or getting capable therefore if a student knows from an early age what their interests are, the NCV programme is actually properly suited to that student.

False Bay TVET College will assist the student to become qualified in his field of interest. Students who want to become entrepreneurs will also have access to their Centre of Entrepreneurship on the Westlake Campus.
